I want the independent music (hardcore / punk / emo / metal / whatever) scene to have a reliable listing of all the shows going on, so I figured I'd give it a shot. The difference here is I'm not the one keeping the site up to date. You are. You post your own info, and you keep it up to date. I just run the database.

Hope you like the site. It's not quite finished (and I don't know if it ever will be), but I think it's ready to start listing shows. Hit up the about page for more info.

Site News...

New Host

Swtiched to a new host today. Less disk space; more fun stuff I can do with the account ;) We'll see how it goes.

By the way, I'm planning on overhauling this bad boy sometime in the next year or so.

ARR...

So I know it probably looks like I've completely abandoned my baby here, and in some ways I'm forced to admit I have. The four months of straight coding (I was unemployed) that I spent building this thing completely burned me out on programming and computers in general for a while. So recently I've had neither the time, nor the drive, to work on it, and I appologize. But ideas for this puppy are still festering at the back of my mind and one of these days I'm going to sit back down and turn this into the show information supercenter that I've always dreamed of. Until then I hope those of you that have found the site useful will keep using it, and those that hate it will keep an open mind about giving it another chance when the grand upgrade finally arrives.

Stagnation

So I haven't made many updates lately, but it's because I'm working on a big one... I'm rewriting a lot of the core of the site to make it more flexible and extensible. Hopefully big things will be happening in the next couple months. In the meantime you're welcome to keep using the site as it is, and email me with feedback and suggestions.

New Interface for Posting Shows

I've completely re-done the section for posting and editing shows to make it much more intuitive and easy to use. I'm pretty proud of this one.

Confirmation Update

Thanks to some feedback from phil, I've changed the confirmation system so that denials simply remove you from the listing without causing a big scene.
